The Quebec flag flying at the top of the Parliament tower will be lowered to half-mast Wednesday for the funeral of astrophysicist Hubert Reeves.
Prime Minister François Legault and the President of the National Assembly, Nathalie Roy, announced this on Tuesday.
Ms Roy, on behalf of her parliamentary colleagues, wanted to express her sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the man of science with a priceless legacy.
Hubert Reeves, French astrophysicist, science popularist and ecologist from Quebec, died on October 13 in Paris.
