New Year’s Eve in Fortaleza 2024 will be celebrated for three days at Aterro da Praia de Iracema. Check out the attractions:
It has not yet been announced how the attractions will be distributed over the three days, but Roberto Carlos will be one of the first to appear. Around 550,000 visitors came to the capital’s last New Year’s Eve. Fortaleza is the fourth largest city in the country.

The campaign is financed by the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) and is part of the Fortaleza Tourism Marketing Plan.
This year the town hall aims to attract more than 600,000 visitors, 10% more than last year, when the capital welcomed around 550,000 people between Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
According to the Fortaleza Tourism Observatory, New Year’s Eve 2023 brought R$3.4 billion in revenue for the economy and more than 186,000 formal and informal job offers between December 15, 2022 and January 15, 2023.
The program aims to contribute to the competitiveness and sustainability of the tourism sector in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) through the adoption of digital and new technologies.
In addition to increasing national visibility and attracting more tourists, the strategy aims to guarantee the sponsors with which last New Year’s Eve paid the fees of the artists who performed on the stage on the banks of Praia de Iracema during the two New Year’s Eve holidays .
