It was no longer decisive for San Jose in Florida, which was defeated 3 to 1. David Quinn’s men are still looking for a first win after six games this season.

From 2023 to 2024, Vlasic is in the sixth year of an eight-year contract that will allow him to earn $7 million annually.

The Montreal native was selected in the second round (35th overall) of the 2005 draft and played his entire career with the Sharks. In 1,243 games he scored 77 goals and 287 assists for 364 points. This season, Vlasic picked up no points and held a -1 lead in four games.
