Chantelle Houghton showed off the results of her fourth weight loss as she hit the beach during her vacation in Marbella, Spain this week.

The former Celebrity Big Brother star, who recently claimed the reality show had ruined her life, was spotted enjoying the sunshine during her holiday.

Chantelle, 40, showed off her recent weight loss in a neon green bikini with a printed band around the top and matching bottoms.

After reaching 13kg in 2021, the mother-of-one changed her diet and exercise regime following her split from ex-fiancé Michael Strutt and now wears a size 36.

Chantelle’s two-piece set showcased her lithe figure and glowing tan as she modeled the triangle-style top and high-waisted trousers.

Chantelle wore her dark, glossy locks loose and straight while she opted for a light touch of makeup to complete her beach look.

Chantelle became a household name after her unlikely entry into the Celebrity Big Brother house via the entirely fictional girl band Kandy Floss.

But 17 years after becoming the first non-celebrity to win the show – and pocketing £25,000 in the process – Chantelle admitted her overnight fame ruined her life and caused her hair to fall out.

Chantelle was chosen by Channel 4 producers to play a twist on Celebrity Big Brother by entering the house as a fictional pop singer.

Her housemates – including Michael Barrymore, Pete Burns and Jodie Marsh – soon became outraged at the appearance, but she endeared herself to the general public and even managed to fall in love with The Ordinary Boys star Samuel Preston on the show “, whom she married in 2006.

However, fame came at a price and Chantelle admits that life in the spotlight has had a negative impact on her mental health.

“I went through a really terrible time. “I was abused for a very, very long time,” she told The Sun.

“I lost myself in a lot of misery and little by little I am finding myself back and enjoying being the person I always was.”

The former bank teller says her weight has also suffered and fans are often amazed by her fluctuating body shape.

“I didn’t eat or only ate when I was starving,” she remembers. “And then when I was starving, I ate everything I could get my hands on.” “I would stop at McDonald’s or get a bag of chips or a bag of chips.”

Chantelle, a strict vegan, says she is now in the shape of her life after losing five stone thanks to a sugar-free diet – but it’s not just her weight that has changed.

Once famous for her peroxide blonde hair, the TV personality has since returned to a more natural brunette look, in keeping with her decision to distance herself from the past – and for good reason.

She said: “Because I was so blonde and because of the pulling force of the extensions I ended up with so many bald spots.”

“So I had all my extensions taken out, dyed my hair dark and only treated my hair with Kerastase weekly, and now I’m taking care of myself.”

Although her marriage to Preston ended in 2007, Chantelle says she still has a good relationship with the singer – but admits they haven’t seen each other for three years.

“Being in the house and meeting Preston was a whirlwind,” she said. “It was such a happy time.

“I finally got over the fact that I was the only non-celebrity, I passed the task and then I slowly fell in love with someone.”
