Beyonce explains the concept behind her new perfume Cé Noir to her Beyhive in the unboxing video: “I’m super excited”

Three months after first teasing her 318 million Instagram fans and followers, Beyoncé revealed the name and look of her highly anticipated new fragrance.

And now, just one day later, the entrepreneur-turned-pop superstar is speaking directly to all her fans around the world in the official unboxing video for Cé Noir.

“I’m super excited. “This is my Cé Noir I’m unboxing,” the pop superstar-turned-entrepreneur announced while holding a brand new box up to the camera. “And after years of work, it’s finally here.”

In the clip, Queen Bey reveals the concept behind the fragrance’s design, which features a chrome-plated bottle with a transparent circle in the middle to peer “into the soul” of the product.

“I wanted something monolithic,” she explains, sitting seemingly glamorous in a dressing room in a black tank top and matching drawstring pants. “And I wanted something that had a little bit of intimacy.”

After removing the cardboard lid, she takes the stylish chrome bottle out of the packaging to look at it up close for the camera.

Beyoncé then applies the scent to her neck and her wavy blonde locks that cascade down her chest and back.

“Okay, my first spray,” the “Crazy In Love” star says enthusiastically with a big, beaming smile on his face, followed by an “ooh” with every press of the bottle nozzle.

After putting the bottle back in its holder, the Houston, Texas native reveals, “I actually spray myself a few times during the show,” in reference to her recently completed Renaissance Work Tour.

Then she added, “I have to keep it fresh.”

“And this is Cé Noir,” she concluded the video, still holding up the perfume bottle and box.

As she began to place the bottle back in the fancy box, she giggled adorably at her pun and added, “Say no more.”

The video comes just a day after Beyoncé announced the launch of the new perfume in a promotional clip on Instagram.

“Beyoncé Parfums presents CÉ NOIR,” the caption read, along with the announcement that pre-orders were now being accepted “for shipment in November,” which would arrive “in time for the holidays.”

“I'm super excited. “This is my Cé Noir I’m unboxing,” announced the pop superstar-turned-entrepreneur. “And after years of work, it’s finally here.”

According to their website, the Cé Noir fragrance, created in France, contains top notes of clementine and golden honey, middle notes of rose absolute and jasmine sambac, and base notes of Namibian myrrh and golden amber.

This is her fourth fragrance after the release of Heat (2010), Pulse (2011) and then Rise (2014), which was inspired by African-American author Maya Angelou and was intended to highlight private sides of Beyoncé’s personal life.

Beyoncé (born Beyoncé Giselle Knowles) first announced Cé Noir, which loosely translates to “that black one,” during a tour in July.

“Crafted and designed” and “wrapped in art” by Beyoncé, the new fragrance is only available in the US and Canada and sells exclusively on the site for $160.

A “special gift with purchase” is also included, while supplies last.
