Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian said he would sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan in November. He made the announcement during an international forum in Tbilisi, Georgia, on Thursday, October 26, almost a month after Baku’s victory over the Armenian separatists of Nagorno-Karabakh.

In an already tense environment, Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry announced on Monday the start of military maneuvers with Turkey near Armenia. According to this source, these exercises will be organized in the Azerbaijani enclave of Nakhichevan on the border with Armenia and Iran, as well as in “liberated areas,” the location of which was not specified, which could be Nagorno-Karabakh or adjacent Azerbaijani districts. These maneuvers, confirmed by Turkey, will mobilize up to 3,000 soldiers from both countries, dozens of armored vehicles, artillery and around twenty aircraft.
