Kourtney Kardashian announced to Travis Barker and the world on June 17 that she was pregnant with her first child, although there were apparently hints months earlier, as revealed on The Kardashians this week.
While Kourtney, 44, hasn’t been seen much since her heated argument with her sister Kim, 43, she appeared in the new episode to attend her niece True’s birthday party.
In that brief appearance, there were hints that Kourtney – who missed Kim’s birthday party due to bed rest – was expecting what a family member seemed to notice.
When Kourtney arrived at the party, which was apparently filmed on or around True’s birthday on April 12, Kourtney hugged his half-sister Kylie Jenner.
“I love you, I’m so exhausted I can’t even stand up,” Kourtney admitted, which was the first clue since extreme tiredness and exhaustion are common in the first trimester.

Kylie seemed to get it straight away and casually asked, “Are you pregnant?” and Kourtney just says, “No.”
Kourtney also revealed several times during the episode that she wasn’t consuming sugar, another telltale sign that she was expecting, which could also indicate that she knew full well she was expecting and didn’t tell her family.
A 2021 article in Penn Medicine News revealed, “The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends that pregnant women limit their caffeine consumption to less than 200 mg (about two 6-ounce cups) per day.”
Kourtney also said she didn’t drink alcohol at the party, another hint she may have known she was expecting.
Kourtney was also seen wearing loose clothing in the episode, as she may have been trying to hide the early signs of a baby bump.
Since Kourtney’s due date is unknown, it is unclear when the child’s conception date was or how far away it was from this birthday celebration.
It’s unclear how far along Kourtney may have gotten during True’s birthday celebration, or whether she actually knew she was pregnant herself when Kylie asked her.
About two months later, on June 17, Kourtney flashed a sign that read, “Travis, I’m pregnant,” during one of his Blink 182 concerts.
Kylie: Kylie seemed to get it straight away and casually asked, “Are you pregnant?” and Kourtney just said, “No.”
In a preview for an upcoming episode of The Kardashians, it was revealed that Kris Jenner didn’t hear the happy news directly from Kourtney.
Khloe Kardashian revealed in the clip: “My mom found out on the news. ‘She wasn’t very happy.’
Kris added in the clip: “I thought I was doing punk!”
While it’s unclear when Kourtney and Travis will actually give birth to their first child, it was recently revealed that she underwent emergency surgery in September that saved the baby’s life.
After she said she was “lucky” because the unspecified problem was discovered during an additional monitoring session that women in the U.S. don’t routinely receive.
Kourtney, who already has 13-year-old Mason, 11-year-old Penelope and eight-year-old Reign with her former partner Scott Disick, told American Vogue magazine: “This experience opened my eyes to a whole new world of pregnancy, that I didn’t know.” Like in the past.
“It was terrifying. After learning that insurance typically only covers two ultrasounds when you’re pregnant, I had no idea.
“I’ve always been lucky enough to do more than what insurance covers, and it was one of those ultrasounds that saved my baby’s life.”
While documenting the ordeal online last month, Kourtney posted a black and white photo of her and Barker holding hands.
