Deleted from the map: Before and after satellite images show how Israeli air strikes have devastated entire neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip after two weeks of bombing

Horrifying satellite images have revealed the devastating impact of weeks of Israeli airstrikes on neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip.

Images provided by Portal show the true extent of the devastation caused by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) airstrikes in Beit Hanoun and Atatra in the northern Gaza Strip.

Before the bombing, large apartment buildings, houses, streets and the greenery of suburban trees and properties could be seen in the landscape.

But in these neighborhoods the reality is now very different, as relentless bombing has destroyed much of what came before. Many of the images show a dusty wasteland with dilapidated buildings and scattered debris.

The IDF suspects that Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists are hiding in many of these neighborhoods.

Since the war began on October 7, the Israeli Air Force has attacked targets, including many weapons depots and Hamas tunnels.

Many Gazans have also posted videos and images on social media showing the destruction caused by the Israeli Air Force.

Meanwhile, the United Nations said today that “nowhere is a safe place” in light of Israeli bombings in the Gaza Strip.

“Nowhere in Gaza is safe,” Lynne Hastings, U.N. humanitarian coordinator for the occupied Palestinian territories, said in a statement.

“When evacuation routes are bombed, when people in the north and south are caught up in hostilities, when the bare essentials for survival are missing and when there are no guarantees of return, people are left with impossible choices.”

More than 7,000 people have reportedly been killed in Gaza since the war began.

According to the Hamas-run Ministry of Health, 2,913 children have been affected out of the total 7,028 deaths so far.

Yesterday the ministry reported 6,546 deaths, including 2,704 children.

Joe Biden said he has “no confidence in the number the Palestinians are using,” but did not explain why.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations said it was “deeply disturbed” by his comments and called on the president to apologize.

“Journalists have confirmed the high number of victims and countless videos coming out of Gaza every day show mutilated bodies of Palestinian women and children,” said executive director Nihad Awad.
