JK Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, would be willing to go to prison to defend her comments about transgender women.
The famous Harry Potter author has revealed she would happily go to prison to defend her controversial comments about transgender women. The controversy broke out on X (formerly Twitter). In fact, the Wizarding World author responded to a comment on the social network. The story began when JK Rowling shared an image that read, “Repeat after us: transgender women are women,” to which she added a simple word: “No.” One user then replied to the share: “Vote Labor (historically left-wing British political party), get two years (in prison).” After this remark, the designer admitted that she would like to go to prison to fight for her beliefs.

JK Rowling points to a report that explains that a Labor takeover of the UK government could bring several changes to the law. “Serious sex and gender” offenses would be punished with two years in prison. JK Rowling is still at the center of controversy
