Lewiston murder: FBI intervention in the suspect’s apartment

The FBI is conducting searches early Thursday evening at an apartment linked to Lewiston shooting suspect Robert Card.

According to CNN, this would be Mr. Card’s last known address in the town of Bowdoin, Maine.

Sources told the American network that computers, notes, weapons and other items were searched by investigators to further their research.

The words “leave the apartment” were reportedly heard at the scene, but were not directed at suspect Robert Card, who remains on the run.

Several media outlets report that further searches of this kind may take place in other locations in connection with the suspect in the coming hours and days in order to advance the authorities’ investigation.
