“Haters” on the Internet against two children, a Palestinian and an Israeli, who were abducted by the war a few days apart

JERUSALEM – On the morning of his death, on October 7, Omer was probably still sleeping in Kibbutz Nir Oz. Who knows what he saw, heard and suffered: He fled to the refuge, and perhaps the Hamas terrorists Yoanatan and Tamar – “Daddy Mommy! …” – and the two little sisters “Shachar, Arbe! …” killed. » before it was his turn. At 4 years old you don’t understand what is happening to you: the bunker was set on fire, Omer’s body was completely burned and it took days to identify him. Four days later and 23 km away, in the Gaza Strip, it was the turn of another child: the same age as Omer and almost the same name, Omar, who was playing in front of the Zeitoun House when the Israeli planes buried him under the rubble. His brother Majd was with him: he told his father in shock that he had only seen the neighbor’s house explode and be run over, without being able to do anything for the little boy.

It is not enough to kill them, the children of this war. They torture them, bomb them, pulverize them, slash them, burn them, some said they even behead them. And afterwards, not even that is enough: More than four thousand are said to have died? The order is: minimize, doubt the numbers, hide. Are their wounds shown, their dazed looks, their faces whitened by dust and terror? But no, let’s take a closer look at who said these were real pictures… Omer and Omar, the Israeli child and the Palestinian child, fared even worse. Don’t look for their graves: Gravediggers on social media have determined that these two children do not exist. Who never died. And the photos of them with mops, no, they are all a fabrication.
When the picture of Omar dead in the arms of his father, whose name is Al Banna, appeared, the venomous comment from an Israeli account immediately landed on X: “Don’t fall for the scam.” It’s not a real child, it’s one Doll! We know the rumor about the Internet Infector: From France to Austria to India, the cat has repeated the lie endlessly, making people really believe that Omar was an invention of Hamas propaganda. The same applies to Omer in parallel: the photo of this happy family, the Siman-Tov, is too moving, this blonde child is too perfect,” “he looks like an advertising photo,” commented some Arabs, “he definitely is a paid man.” Actor!”. And why? “Why Hamas doesn’t kill children”, “There is no evidence”, “Jewish propaganda is at its best”…
There is something worse than having a dead child: having even the memory of it killed. Omer’s parents can no longer say anything, and a family friend takes their place: “Omer was an angel,” and they left him to die in the flames of this hell. Omar’s mother Yasmin only has the strength to explain that she was there, the air raid was a storm, “they have no right to say my dead child is a doll”… A BBC journalist who was the first to discover the two terrible ones and parallel stories. He listened to all the witnesses, he found the photojournalists who took the pictures, the doctors who administered first aid. And he proved the haters wrong: “They were shameful attempts to spread misinformation,” he comments, “to trivialize or even deny the violence that was committed.” It is not true that the truth is the first victim of every war: Before she comes, they kill children. And they’re not even buried on the Internet.
