Taylor Swift has fans talking after calling an unnamed ex-boyfriend a “lying traitor” in a new song.
The 33-year-old singer has dropped previously unreleased songs from the new version of her fifth album, 1989, which propelled her career to new heights when it was released in 2014.
In one of the new songs, Taylor accuses a former partner of being a “lying traitor” and of sleeping with a string of models after their breakup.
In the year she wrote 1989, Taylor famously dated Harry Styles and Conor Kennedy, the son of current US presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy – with both of them believed to be the inspiration for the album.
Meanwhile, Taylor has also dismissed rumors that she was ever romantically involved with any of her friends on the new album, following speculation that she had an affair with Glee actress Dianna Agron.

In a new song titled “S**t!”, Taylor sings about the public criticism she received for dating an unnamed heartthrob, with many speculating that it could be Harry.
She sings, “I’ll pay the price you won’t pay.”
“And when they call me an asshole, you know it might be worth it for once.
“And if I’m drunk, I might as well be in love.”
“He’s waiting there. The sticks and stones they threw froze in the air.
She continues: “Everyone wants him, that was my crime.”
“The wrong place at the right time.” . . I collapse and he pulls me in.
“In a world full of boys, he’s a gentleman.”

In addition to Harry, Taylor also dated 1975’s DJ Calvin Harris, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy.
In the 1989 prologue (Taylor’s version), Taylor recalls how she tried to avoid being seen publicly with a man to avoid speculation that she was dating them.
She wrote: “It became clear that there was no such thing as casual dating or a male friend for me.”
