The music film Our sisters-in-lawinspired by the famous play by Michel Tremblay, will be performed across Quebec on July 11, 2024.
Director René Richard Cyr completed filming for the feature film on Wednesday.
Produced by Cinémaginaire’s Denise Robert (Testament, From Father to Cop), Nos Belles-Sœurs boasts an all-star cast including Geneviève Schmidt, Guylaine Tremblay, Anne-Élisabeth Bossé, Debbie Lynch-White, by Véronic DiCaire and Valérie Blais, Diane Lavallée, Isabelle Blais and Ariane Moffatt in her first film role.

Daniel Bélanger wrote the music for the film and the choreographies were designed by Alexandre and Katerine Leblanc from Team White, the winning duo of the first season of the show Révolution.
Based on the musical piece “Belles-Sœurs”, which René Richard Cyr himself created on stage a dozen years ago based on the classic by Michel Tremblay, the film “Nos Belles-Sœurs” tells the story of Germaine Lauzon, housewife, winner of a Million Stamps She believes that it will give her access to happiness and a new world that she has long dreamed of.
