For reasons still unknown, the dog, a Rottweiler, fell from a height of around ten meters to the ground on a street in the center of the Italian capital. The dog did not survive the impact.

In the hospital with a head injury

The young woman was taken to hospital for treatment following the incident. She suffered a head injury, newspaper Corriere della Sera reported. The location of the accident was a side street of the Via del Corso shopping street in the historic Roman center, popular with locals and tourists. Many passers-by were on the street at the time of the incident.

It is still unclear why exactly the Rottweiler fell from the third floor onto the street. According to an initial reconstruction by emergency services, there were also some cats in the house.
