The senior creative director of Marvel’s SpiderMan 2 confirmed that Marvel’s Wolverine will be set in the same universe as Webmaster.
The news comes from an interview with Kinda Funny Games (via GameSpot), in which director Bryan Intihar revealed that the three heroes are in the same universe. “It’s 1,048. I think I said it right, but yeah,” Intihar said.
For those who don’t know, Marvel has the multiverse and each universe is different from the other. For example, 616 is the home of the main comic series, while the MCU is 199999. 1048 would be the universe of Insomniac Games.
In the same interview, Intihar stated that the decision not to include Wolverine Easter eggs was made because the studio wanted the team to focus on SpiderMan.
