– Tonight is WWE SmackDown, the blue show begins with the commentators greeting us and reminding us that John Cena will face Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel. Roman Reigns’ music hits, then the tribal chief walks in next to Paul Heyman… but he’s interrupted by LA Knight, who’s sitting at the head of the table.
Nick Aldis is in the ring presenting the contract signing between Roman Reigns and LA Knight for Crown Jewel. The latter signs the contract directly and then hands it over to Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns asks him if he’s ever signed a contract, if he’s ever played a championship match? He doesn’t believe it, LA Knight doesn’t know what’s going on! But they will do it in a nice way for the first time. Roman Reigns signs the contract and then hands it over to Nick Aldis.
Roman Reigns was about to get up, but LA Knight tells him he’s at the end of the table, Reigns can recognize him. If Roman Reigns takes him for granted, he’s actually already beaten. At Crown Jewel, Reigns will wonder what happened when LA Knight left with his championship.
Roman Reigns sends the table to LA Knight and attacks him. He goes to find a table under the ring and then sets it up in the ring. LA Knight manages to get the upper hand, but Jimmy Uso comes in to defend Roman Reigns… except LA Knight counters a hold and sends him through the table!
Tag team match
LWO (Carlito & Santos Escobar) vs. Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins)
During the game, Rey Mysterio is watching the game from the sidelines, but Logan Paul attacks him! Carlito leaves the match to join Mysterio and Santos Escobar continues alone.
At the end of the match, Montez Ford avoids a jump from Santos Escobar, then the Street Profits perform their Revelation against him, winning by pinfall.
Winner: Street Profits
– Behind the scenes we find Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. Jimmy Uso joins them and lies down on the couch. Roman Reigns tells him to deal with it or he’ll be done with the bloodline. Jimym Uso tells him that he is on the injured list, but Roman Reigns asks Paul Heyman to organize a match between LA Knight and Jimmy Uso.
– Backstage, Logan Paul is interviewed by Cathy Kelley to talk about his attack on Rey Mysterio, but Paul moves on. He meets Kevin Owens and then leaves. Austin Theory and Grayson Waller join Owens, who says he’d like to meet them both at once. Officers come to separate them, but Kevin Owens comes back and hits them.
– Behind the scenes we find Dragon Lee in an interview. He is interrupted by Cedric Alexander, who tells him that Lee reminds him of his WWE debut. Cedric Alexander challenges him and Dragon Lee accepts.

Chelsea Green accompanied by Piper Niven against Shotzi
At the end of the game, Chelsea Green pinned Shotzi, but she rolled him up for the win.
Winner: Shotzi
– John Cena comes in and reminds us that we’re still a week away from Crown Jewel. There is a special energy, a special excitement in the arena tonight. It’s special for him tonight, it’s serious. We have stood behind him for 20 years, we have supported him when he needed it most, and more importantly, we have given him our respect. But he is afraid of losing our support for the first time in 20 years. The crowd chants “You can still do it”, John Cena asks: “If you don’t?” If he doesn’t keep his promises, he will lose the respect of the fans, but he doesn’t want to lose it. He wants to continue in the WWE, so there’s only one thing left for him to do: win at Crown Jewel.
Paul Heyman comes and introduces himself. Heyman says John Cena speaks history best, thanking him for the sellout tonight and the many sold out arenas over the years. John Cena was THE GUY until he faced Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. He proved that night that he was no longer the best in the ring. John Cena can’t win at Crown Jewel, this isn’t a prediction, it’s a spoiler… Solo Sikoa comes from behind to attack John Cena and hits him with a Samoan Spike!

Dragon Lee vs. Cedric Alexander
At the end of the match, Cedric Alexander counters a hold from Dragon Lee and then attempts a Michinoku Driver. Dragon Lee counters him with a roll up, Alexander gets up and tries for a pinfall of his own. Lee gets up and follows up with a knee to the back, followed by his Destino to win by pinfall.
Winner: Dragon Lee
– We see what happened last week between Iyo Sky and Charlotte Flair, and then the return of Bianca Belair.
– Bianca Belair enters.
