Married at First Sight bride Jules Robinson opens up about ‘difficult’ health issues: ‘I’ve always suffered’

Former Married At First Sight bride Jules Robinson has opened up about her “difficult” health issues.

In a candid interview with 9Entertainment, the 41-year-old said she wanted to raise awareness for premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), a condition she struggles with.

PMDD is an intense, occasionally debilitating form of premenstrual syndrome characterized by extreme mood swings that can significantly impact women’s daily lives and strain relationships.

Jules shared her experience with the condition earlier this month and has been deeply touched by the remarkable response she has received since sharing her story.

“As women… we all go through an emotional phase at that time of the month, but PMDD is completely different… it was really intense to talk about it after suffering for three years… I have always suffered , ‘ She said.

Jules also said that the day she met her future husband Cameron Merchant, 39, she warned him that she would be terrible to live with: “Stand me under the stairs once a month and just ignore me for a few days.”

She explained that after the birth of her son Oliver in 2020, she noticed a noticeable change in her well-being and realized that something might be wrong.

Jules experienced particularly challenging times last year during a trip to Bali on a women’s health retreat.

“I had some really dark thoughts and the question came to me: ‘Who am I now?’ “I’m learning to appreciate this time and sit with it, rest, go through things and learn how to be better with it can and what works for me,” she said.

It comes as Jules’ husband Cam paid a moving tribute to her last month to mark their five-year anniversary.

The former reality star, 39, posted a gallery of loved-up wedding pictures from 2018 on Instagram and captioned them with heartfelt words.

“I want a person who will come into my life randomly but stay intentionally.” “It’s been five years since I met my best friend Jules and married sight unseen,” he began.

“I still feel like it was one of the best days I’ve ever had… and you would never have guessed that in some of these photos we’ve only known each other for hours.”

“There was something special, kind, supportive and warm about our first connection and it has only grown stronger.” “So very grateful for you, our experiences, support and love we have created for each other,” he added.

Last year, Jules sparked rumors they were planning baby number two after she confessed she was determined to have a girl.

She said on her podcast that after finding out her chances of having another boy were high, she decided to do everything she could to conceive a girl.

The hair and makeup artist said she spoke to a friend who gave her some unorthodox advice about having a baby girl.

“Her advice was pretty extensive…You need to ‘throw off,’ which is the opposite of lying with your legs up after sex,” she revealed.
