For sensitive souls or those who need a break, horror on television can be enjoyed in moderation. Sometimes a few bites are enough. Thanks to these series, the heartbeat speeds up, but the horror doesn’t last forever.
The cabinet of curiosities

Two reasons should be more than enough to take a look at this bouquet of stories that merrily wander through the 20th century, allowing horror to arrive and take hold. Firstly, it is an initiative of the renowned filmmaker Guillermo del Toro. So it’s no surprise that this production is original. Secondly, the director, producer and screenwriter adopts the look of Alfred Hitchcock to give the whole thing cohesion. Among these adventures there are countless deaths. We like to say: the longer, the better… Sébastien Diaz’s two-season series proves the opposite. Make me scream
Photo provided by Amazon Studios
Just in time for Halloween comes this reality show whose concept is very simple: you don’t have to scream to get a good score. There’s no shortage of opportunities to laugh, however, as participants must wander through enchanted labyrinths where the people who populate them are anything but welcoming. Clearly the hosts are having a field day because the familiar faces who signed up for this show aren’t convinced they made the right decision. Given their reactions, we hope their salary was worth it!

Room 104
(go Room 104)

It’s not just horror that invites you into room 104 of an American hotel. The genres alternate at the same pace as the visitors who walk through the door without knowing that they are about to experience special moments. The appeal of this HBO-owned production is that it takes place behind closed doors. Everything takes place within the same walls. However, the hours that pass at different times do not have the same meaning for the customer. Some would certainly have done better not to set foot on the 104…
