One of the most common causes of murder
For Inès, the week is just as rich in emotions and twists and turns. The young lawyer is taking on her first murder case and although Léo helps her, she feels completely overwhelmed. “It is very rare for lawyers to work on a murder case early in their careers. We don’t see it in the series, but it requires hours of work. There may be rooms full of documents to analyze. Inès was deceived. She was walking in a hallway of the courthouse when Mr. Janson, the prosecutor in the case, asked her to represent Tom. She thought it was just a theft gone wrong before she realized her client was accused of murder,” says Marc Bisaillon.
Me Janson also makes things more difficult for Inès because it takes too long to send her missing documents. “There are some very good scenes with Mr. Janson,” emphasizes the script editor. Tom doesn’t make things any easier by refusing to speak to his lawyer. He seems afraid of something or someone. Is this related to the mysterious person lurking around those involved in this case?
