Victoria’s Secret is reconnecting with great beauty

A few years ago, Victoria’s Secret, the famous women’s underwear brand, underwent an aesthetic change: it wanted to get rid of great models, the famous Victoria’s Secret Angels, and replace them with models that were seemingly more representative, in the name of body diversity and the neo-feminist struggle.

From construction

Victoria’s Secret wanted to become a symbol of the “woke revolution” by subjecting lingerie to the criteria of the ideology of justice, diversity and inclusion. The bosses explained that the company should no longer see lingerie from the perspective of men, but should focus on the needs of women.

But this revolution did not have the expected effects. The company paid the price financially.

It was easy to predict: who, seriously, with a desire to embrace the aesthetics of deconstruction specific to the woke left, who would make us believe that a flabby, purple-haired individual who rejects both masculinity and femininity and emphasizes elegance, that is? new representation of beauty?

Every now and then reality takes over.

And no matter what we say: men are not all equally beautiful and women are not all equally beautiful. Beauty isn’t just in the eye of the beholder either.

egalitarianism

There are many ways to be beautiful, but beauty and ugliness should not be confused. But beauty shocks because it is unequal. It is the same with desire, which excites some and less excites others.

We don’t all have the same starting point: there will never be equal opportunities in these matters. This is like.

But that doesn’t mean everyone can’t strive, improve and dream based on inspiring models.

Victoria’s Secret just realized this, and that’s a good thing.
