VIDEO: Chayanne debuts at Ranchera with his first album in nearly a decade

Under his romantic seal, Chayanne ends nearly a decade of recording silence with the release of his twentieth studio album. Let’s dance againwhich includes ballads, pop, bachata and ranchera.

“I’m super happy with the sound of the album and the support they gave it. “Maybe one song can be more successful than others, but in the long run you do everything and when the supplies are no longer in your hand,” the 55-year-old actor said of the musical offering available on digital platforms.

Bailemos Otra Vez consists of nine songs and marks the artist’s debut in the ranchera genre with the single Busca un Segundo.

“They have known me for many years in Mexico, they have opened their arms to me since I was 10, 11 years old, I have participated in activities there and I have sung in some shows with mariachis, I have given special presentations.” They will always see me with “great respect” with the letter because it is a reality, but people see that it is true, it is real and that I do it this way,” said Elmer Figueroa Arce, his first name , in an interview with SPOKESMAN.

Recorded in Miami, the album includes the songs Te Amo Y Punto and Bailando Bachata, which reached number one on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart over the summer and then topped the Latin Airplay chart, where they returned after 16 years.

Also included are La Clave, De Tanto, Como tú y yo, Vivir bonito and Se me queda.

In addition to Chayanne, the author of all the songs, the composers who contributed to the music and lyrics of the project include: Rafa Pabón, Andrés Torres, Andy Clay, Cruz Felipe, Édgar Barrera, Elena Rose and Florentino Rivera, Juan Morelli, Julio Reyes, Luis Alfredo Salazar, Maffio, Mario Cáceres, Mauricio Rengifo, Miguel Andrés Martínez, Mottif, Pablo Preciado, Reggi “El Auténtico”, Richi López, White Star and Yasmil Marrufo.

As a soloist, the artist has released albums such as “Chayanne es mi nombre” (1984), “Tiempo de vals”, “Provócame” and “En todo estaré”, the classics such as “Fiesta en América”, “Salomé” and “Dejaría todo “, to name just a few.

The new album is intended to serve as a launching pad for a new concert tour.
