The 35-year-old winger will miss at least 10 games or 24 days of action. On Thursday, the club’s head coach, Jim Montgomery, announced that his player would be out for two weeks, but his foot injury appears to be more serious than expected.

Lucic has already missed his team’s last three games. In four games this season, the former Los Angeles Kings and Calgary Flames collected two assists. He signed a one-year contract with the Massachusetts team this summer worth $1 million.

In his career with the Bruins, Kings, Oilers and Flames, the 1.80 meter tall athlete collected 233 goals and 353 assists for 586 points in 1,177 games.
