CHICAGO – The Chicago Bulls’ overtime comeback victory over the Toronto Raptors was aided by two referee errors, according to the NBA’s final two-minute report released Saturday.

According to the report, DeMar DeRozan should have been called for a traveling violation with 6.3 seconds left in the fourth quarter, an infraction that would have resulted in a turnover. Instead, DeRozan was fouled during the game and hit a 3-pointer from Chris Boucher, sending DeRozan to the free throw line with a chance to tie the game.

The league also found that Pascal Siakam should not have been whistled for an offensive foul with 3.4 seconds left after the Raptors attacked the ball. While the report indicates that Siakam and Bulls guard Alex Caruso come together during the pass, it states that there is minor contact and Siakam immediately releases it.

“Caruso is not displaced from his defensive position by an illegal contact from Siakam,” the report said.

Chicago trailed by 17 points with five minutes left in the fourth quarter before staging a furious comeback and pushing the game into overtime, where the Bulls picked up their first win of the season.
