Bahian digital influencer Rodrigo de Souza Silva, known as “Amendoim,” was found dead in his apartment, in a residential complex in the city of Lauro de Freitas, in the Salvador metropolitan region. The body was found on Saturday evening (28) and the case is being investigated by the civil police.
Military Police (PM) reported that teams from the 81st Independent Company attended the scene after receiving reports of a firearm being discharged at a property. The Prime Minister said the expert guides were issued by the 27th Itinga Territorial Police Station and that the case was registered as suicide.
Earlier this Sunday (29), the Civil Police (PC) said it was investigating the circumstances of the death, without confirming that the case was registered as suicide. This confirmation came in a note at the end of the morning. The PC stated that there was a pistol and a magazine near the body. Peanut was found on a bed in one of the rooms in the apartment.
According to Civil, the Technical Police Department (DPT) conducted an investigation and transferred the body to the Legal Medical Institute for an autopsy. There is no information about the funeral of Rodrigo, who left behind a ninemonthold son.

In a recent interview with a podcast, he recalled his humble origins and revealed that he had a difficult childhood. “My sister raised me, but I also worked from a young age, I had responsibilities at home. When I was 12 years old, I left with a box of ice cream on my back, 100 of them, and had to return without any,” he explained.
