In 2021, the Bahian’s videos began to gain success on the Internet. Before his digital work, Rodrigo sold ice cream and peanuts on the streets of Salvador hence his nickname.

In a recent interview with a podcast, he recalled his humble origins and revealed that he had a difficult childhood. “My sister raised me, but I also worked from a young age, I had responsibilities at home. When I was 12 years old, I left with a box of ice cream on my back, 100 of them, and had to return without any,” he explained.

“I was raised by her until I was 12 or 13 and I was no joke. My sister couldn’t stand me and gave me to my father. I stayed with him for a while and he couldn’t stand me either and threw.” “My own father told me to throw him out of the house,” he said.

Rodrigo reported at the time that he was often beaten because he could not sell his products and that he was already struggling to feed himself, not only because of the scarcity of resources but also as punishment, as his father locked the refrigerator in the house in which they lived. .
