No Taylor Swift big problem for Travis Kelce The Kansas

No Taylor Swift, big problem for Travis Kelce! The Kansas City Chiefs suffer a surprising 15-point defeat in snowy Denver despite being heavy favorites… after the pop superstar opted not to travel to the game

  • Kelce only had 50 receiving yards at half of KC’s game against Denver
  • The Chiefs just beat the same Broncos team in Kansas City two weeks ago

Just two weeks ago, the Kansas City Chiefs, with Taylor Swift in the audience, made relatively easy work against the weakening Denver Broncos.

Cut to this Sunday – where the Chiefs fell to the same team on the road in Colorado.

While many factors could be at play – the weather, the cold, the lack of oxygen – these issues follow a pattern that has been pointed out numerous times in previous weeks: KC simply doesn’t play as well when Swift isn’t there.

Before halftime, KC trailed Denver 14-9 in icy conditions after nearly eight inches of snow blanketed the city.

When the game ended, the Chiefs scored no more points as they lost to the Broncos 24-9.

This is a developing story. CONTINUE.

Travis Kelce wasn’t playing like his typically dominant self – he continued his trend of putting in disappointing performances whenever his girlfriend wasn’t around.

At halftime, the tight end had just five catches for 50 yards while KC quarterback Patrick Mahomes struggled.

Mahomes had thrown for just 167 yards and interceptions before halftime, completing 16 of 20 passes.

His counterpart, Denver QB Russell Wilson, only completed eight passes for 97 yards, but managed two passing touchdowns and took the lead.

Kelce hasn’t always performed at his best when Swift has been away. In the last game she missed – a road trip to Minnesota – Travis had 10 catches for 67 yards.

Swift participated in the next two games, with Kelce having nine catches for 124 yards in the home win against Denver and 12 catches for 179 yards and a touchdown the following week against the Chargers.
