The United Nations announces that 33 trucks carrying humanitarian aid have arrived from the southern Gaza Strip
Thirty-three trucks carrying humanitarian aid entered Gaza on Sunday through the Rafah crossing on the border with Egypt, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said.
This is the largest convoy to enter the besieged Palestinian territory since the limited resumption of humanitarian aid deliveries on October 21, the UN office said.
“While this increase is welcome, a much larger volume of aid is required on a regular basis to prevent further deterioration of the dire humanitarian situation, including civil unrest,” OCHA said in its daily report on the war between Israel and Hamas.
“The emergency supply of fuel is particularly necessary for the operation of medical equipment as well as water and sanitation systems,” the report continues. Israel blocked all fuel shipments, saying Hamas was exploiting them to make weapons and explosives.

Russia: An airport in Dagestan is stormed by an anti-Israel crowd
