Rico Melquiades underwent several cosmetic procedures on his face. He had already revealed that the change was due to a trauma he suffered from being called ugly throughout his life. “My look was sad,” he said, giving more than he could R$50,000.
The influencer revealed his new face during the Record program Domingo Espetacular, broadcast this Sunday (29). He stated that his selfesteem was very low due to several comments on social media about his appearance.
“I didn’t even know the word selfesteem. I received messages saying: ‘You are ugly, your eyes are droopy, you look like a monster’. It killed me. I lost the overview.” [de tudo que já fiz]” said.
“I was never beautiful, I was never goodlooking, but I didn’t care what people thought. I’ve already thought about taking a break from the internet,” he explained.

“With cosmetic surgery, there is a process. During this process my face was swollen, I had stitches, I was taking a lot of medication, I was purple. The result is not what you see on the gossip pages,” he explained.
“Because of you, you commented that I looked ugly, that the surgery didn’t work, that I looked terrible… There were so many nasty comments that I had to drug myself to sleep,” he revealed.
