Dr. Gary Motykie, a plastic surgeon in Los Angeles, has given his opinion on which celebrities have had plastic surgery
Skin that has been so tightened that it begins to tear. Expressionless forehead. Balloon lips. These are just three cosmetic surgeries popular among celebrities that most of us can recognize from afar.
But in recent years, a new trend has emerged: tweaks so subtle that only professionals can spot them.
While some serious surgeries still go too far – such as Madonna – these cases are becoming increasingly rare due to amazing advances in surgical techniques.
Dr. Gary Motykie, a Los Angeles-based plastic surgeon, told that advances in technology over the last decade have meant that you would never guess half of the celebrities who have had work done.
While Taylor Swift is often praised for her “Girl Next Door” look and is famous for her natural look, Dr. Motykie said he was “almost 100 percent sure” she had fillers in her lips and treatment Botox.
And according to him, Kendall Jenner, who is often considered the “natural Kardashian,” has not been spared from surgery, having also undergone fillers and rhinoplasty.
Among male celebrities, he said Prince Harry and David Beckham have probably both had their hair worked on, and for more dramatic changes, he pointed to Bad Bunny, who probably received fillers to change the shape of his face.
Dr. Motykie, who runs an optimization channel on Instagram with 200,000 followers, made his judgments based on clinical experience.
The celebrities haven’t revealed that they’ve had surgery, with the exception of Anne Hathaway, who previously said she’s “always wanted a nose job,” and Sofia Richie, who shared a picture with her plastic surgeon .

Taylor Swift: ‘Almost 100% sure’ she used lip fillers
Dr. Motykie believes Taylor Swift (pictured left in 2008 and right in 2008) hasn’t had much work done, although he’s “almost 100 percent sure” she’s had some procedures. He believes she had a nose job, upper eyelid surgery and lip and eyebrow fillers
Taylor Swift, 33, is famous for her “natural” looks, but Dr. Motykie said he was “almost 100 percent sure” that she was doing “maintenance work” behind the scenes.
“Taylor really hasn’t done much, but there are some subtle things that caught my eye.”
“Her eyes have always been very heavy since she was younger, but now they are a little more open.”
“So I have a little suspicion that at some point she may have performed an upper eyelid or blepharoplasty to open that eyelid.”
“And then I think her nose may have changed a little in width. It’s a little more contoured and narrow now, maybe even a little. So either a refinement was carried out or a type of nose correction was carried out.
“And then I think her lips were worked on.” When we see lips throughout the story, they don’t tend to get fuller with age – her lips do seem to get a little fuller, though. So I’m saying she put on a little lip filler.
“I would say as far as lips go, I would almost 100 percent go for it.” [she had that done] and maintenance Botox.
“I would say the upper eyes and the nose, I would guess at about 75 percent.”
Taylor Swift has never confirmed that she has undergone cosmetic procedures.
Lip fillers cost between $500 and $1,500, with the average procedure only requiring one syringe. Botox costs $300 to $500 and lasts three to four months.
A spokesperson for Taylor Swift denied the allegations, saying the star “has not undergone any of these procedures.”
Prince Harry: “Spray hair”

The 39-year-old prince-turned-California native appears to use hairspray to address his thinning hairline, Dr. Motykie, and not the transplants he was previously accused of.
“His crown became quite thin, but then he appeared with a much fuller head of hair and everyone speculated about whether he had had hair transplants or whether it was something else.”
“However, I think in his case, given the speed and the color, it is more likely that he used some kind of spray on the hair fibers.”
“It’s actually synthetic hair that’s sprayed on there with a darker color and it sticks to the hair and makes it look a lot thicker.”
“For exosome injections or hair thickening transplants, both would have taken much longer to take full effect – perhaps a few short years for injections and three to six months for fibers.”
“Because the effects take effect so quickly, I tend to spray on some type of hair fiber.”
Prince Harry has never confirmed what treatments he may be receiving for his thinning hairline, but speculation was rife when his profile page appeared on mental health tech startup BetterUp’s website.
Sprayed hair fibers can last for days if used correctly. They attach to the hair left on the head to give it a fuller look and stay in place until the next time someone uses shampoo, experts say.
They are considered a cosmetic procedure, with a bottle of hairspray available for as little as $20.
Kendall Jenner: “She had a ‘nose job'”
Kendall Jenner is known as one of the more natural Kardashians, pictured above in 2010, left and 2023. But Dr. Motykie said she likely underwent a nose job and lip fillers and used Botox to reshape her face
The 27-year-old has always been considered one of the more natural Kardashians.
But Dr. Motykie said: “Regardless of what she may or may not say, I think it’s almost 100 percent certain that she’s had a nose job at some point – and is doing some touch-ups.”
A rhinoplasty is the medical term for a “nose job,” or the reshaping, resizing, or restructuring of the nose to change its appearance or improve its function. This procedure costs between $9,000 and $20,000.
“The reason I say that is because the bridge of her nose is now much more defined and narrower, the tip of her nose is slightly raised and more defined,” he told DM.com.
“This doesn’t just happen naturally and can’t be achieved with things like fillers.” The only way to do this is with a rhinoplasty.
“You can also see that her lips have become fuller, especially the upper lip, so it’s most likely lip fillers.”
“It’s also likely that she uses Botox just to groom the face and reshape it a bit. “The change in her eyebrows could also be due to the use of Botox.”
Kendall Jenner has previously denied rumors that she has had plastic surgery.
In January 2017, she returned to Instagram after her absence sparked rhinoplasty rumors, saying, “As a model, why would I have my face reconstructed? It doesn’t even make sense.”
In 2014, as rumors of a nose job continued to swirl, she added to “Extra,” “Come on guys…makeup works wonders.”
Blake Lively: ‘I suspect she’s doing fillers’
Blake Lively, now 36 and known for Gossip Girl, also seems to have had some touch-ups. Dr. Motykie said she likely underwent surgery on her upper eyelids, fillings to her cheeks and lips, a nose job and veneers for her teeth
The 36-year-old Gossip Girl star also had to work on his appearance. according to Dr. Motykie.
“When you get to your mid-30s, people lose a little bit of fat from their baby faces, so people start saying, ‘Oh, they’re changing,’ and then they think, ‘Oh, let me add a little filler.’
“So I suspect she’s using some fillers to stop the baby fat from disappearing.
“But it could also be the upper eyelid or a blepharoplasty. [changing her appearance] because her eyes are a little more open than when she was younger.”
Blepharoplasty, or “eyelid surgery,” involves removing excess skin or fat from the upper or lower eyelids to change their appearance. Over time, the eyelids can lose their elasticity and begin to sag or droop. This procedure can cost between $2,000 and $7,500.
“In the beginning she had very heavy eyelids, which become less and less open as she gets older. But as you can see, with Blake they have gone in the opposite direction,” said Dr. Motykie told .
“However, there is no doubt that there are changes in her nose.”
“I would say at least one or two rhinoplasty jobs to change her nose, which was a little more bulbous than that narrower, more prominent nose.”
“And then the same thing with her lips, we see them getting a little thinner and then a little fuller.” Most likely some lip filler was used to maintain volume.
“She also has a much brighter smile than before, so I would say she will probably have veneers at some point.”
Sofia Richie: “This is one of the more dramatic changes”
Sofia Richie Grainge, 25, also worked on refining her appearance. She is pictured above in 2014 and again in 2018. Dr. Motykie hinted that she had undergone a nose job, had her lips and cheeks filled under her eyes, and may have had some work done to contour her lower jaw
According to Dr. Motykie one of the more “dramatic” changes who was “100 percent sure” she had everything taken care of.
Regarding her nose, he said: “Broad bridge, wide tip and a little flat at the beginning.” But then there is a nose that is contoured in the bridge and is narrower – and the tip is still a little bulbous and natural, but also a little more contoured.
“This is most likely a rhinoplasty, but it could have been a scarless rhinoplasty, which many celebrities will have, meaning you can’t tell because there is no scar.”
He also hinted that she had fillers, saying, “The other thing I think she’s done is fillers.” There’s no doubt that her lips are a little plumper than before.
“And then I noticed that she’s a little hollow in the middle of her face below her eyes, even though she’s younger.” But now we see that her cheeks and face are more heart-shaped.
“This usually means filler under the eyes or in the middle of the face, transforming her heavy, masculine face into a slightly heart-shaped, feminine face.”
“She may also have had some lower jaw work done or some lower jaw contouring with Botox to shrink the lower part of her face, make it wider and make it softer and more feminine.”
Ms Grainge has not commented on surgery rumors, but in 2020 she shared a photo with plastic surgeon Jason Diamond with the caption: “Thank you for always looking after me.”
David Beckham: “Hair Transplant”
According to Dr. The 48-year-old football legend has also done a lot in Motykie. These include a hair transplant and fillers in his forehead to cover up lines. He is pictured on the left in 2018 and on the right in 2022
“He hasn’t done anything like the other male celebrities, has he?” said Dr. Motykie jokingly.
“He showed signs of hair thinning and the typical male baldness at the top of his head throughout the top of his head, but now he has a nice, fuller head of hair.”
“I think he probably started with a few injections and then he probably switched to a hair transplant, that’s a good possibility.”
“They do the injections first as this stimulates growth naturally. Then, if you choose to transplant, you will need fewer grafts, fewer surgeries and lower costs.”
“You can see he also had a lot of wrinkles on his forehead which made him look a little grumpy and stern, but then he looks much softer, younger and less wrinkled.”
“That’s the power of Botox when done right. It softens the area and removes some of those deep wrinkles and wrinkles.”
David Beckham has not confirmed that he has had plastic surgery, but his wife Victoria previously revealed that she regretted the boob job. The operation was to enlarge her breasts, but Victoria now says she wishes she hadn’t “messed with them”.

“We see a really dramatic difference with Bad Bunny.”
“The most dramatic thing is his chin.” It went from being somewhat pouty and not clearly visible to a very defined and strong masculine jawline. These things don’t usually happen on their own.
“One way to achieve this would be to have a jaw filler, particularly in the angle of the lower jaw and then along the jawline to strengthen it.”
“He may have had some Kybella too.” [an injection to destroy fat cells] or liposuction on his neck to contour his jawline under his chin.
“Also, I’m a little wary of a chin implant.” And the reason I saw that is because when you look at his front view, he takes on a strong masculine expression, and that’s one of the effects of a chin implant. It also changes the expression of the lower half of the face.
“And finally, he grew facial hair to really emphasize the definition of the jawline, so a combination of all of those things.”
Jaw fillers cost between $600 and $800 per syringe, although some brands cost up to $1,200. It wasn’t clear how many Bad Bunny might have used.
Machine Gun Kelly: “Suddenly there’s a full head of hair”
Like Prince Harry, the 33-year-old singer also appears to have had work done to get his receding hairline under control. It was probably a hair transplant, said Dr. Motykie
Motykie pointed out that Machine Gun Kelly, like Prince Harry and David Beckham, also suffers from a thinning hairline.
To solve this problem, Dr. Motykie said he also decided to get a hair transplant from another area of his body – probably from the back of his head.
“We see hair loss in men that is a little more pronounced when they are younger,” the surgeon said.
“And then, all of a sudden, there’s a full head of hair. This is definitely not a spray, this looks like a transplant.
“Some photos have emerged that show he may have used a slightly older technique where he had a scar on the back of his head.” I’ve seen photos where you can see this scar, which is similar to Elon Musk’s.
“But he probably also did one of the newer techniques, like follicle transplantation, for his hairline.”
A follicular unit transplant involves removing strips of hair from the back or sides of the head and transplanting them to areas where hair is thinning or has fallen out. Hair transplants cost an average of $10,000.
Anne Hathaway: “I have no doubt she had a ‘nose job'”
The 40-year-old “Les Miserables” actress apparently underwent nose surgery, Dr. Motykie
“I have no doubt that she had a nose job,” said Dr. Motykie.
“You can see that it goes from a slightly deeper, bulbous tip with a wide bridge of the nose to a much more defined contour and a thinner bridge of the nose and a thinner tip and more tip overhang. This is the leading sign of rhinoplasty.
“We also see the natural sign of thinning baby fat disappearing on her face, but it appears to be retained for longer.”
“Again, I’m wary of things like fillers, Botox, microneedling and skin tightening, things that are just for skin care.”
“I also noticed that her jaw is a little narrower. Again, that could be due to the normal loss of body fat, or it could be slight jaw contouring to emphasize the lower part of the face with things like Botox to make that lower part of the face narrower.”‘
Anne Hathaway has already confirmed that she has had plastic surgery. She said: “I wanted to have a nose job but now it’s my nose that allows me to change my face a lot – I can be glamorous as Agent 99.” [in Get Smart]then you roughly look like a drug addict [director] Jonathan Demme [in Rachel Getting Married].
“Your face has to have character if you’re an actor – otherwise you’re just a face.”
She pushed back against speculation that she had cheek fat removal in January 2023 to make her face thinner. A nose job can cost between $9,000 and $20,000.
Emily Blunt: “I suspect she did some fillers”

“In the second picture we can see that her face is a little wider, more heart-shaped and a little more contoured.”

“Having more volume on the top of the face rather than the bottom is much more useful and attractive, without overdoing it where it becomes out of proportion.”
