Her character Barbie is one of the most famous Halloween costumes in the world this year.

But Margot Robbie took a different approach to choosing her own costume while attending Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford’s Casamigos Halloween party in LA on Friday.

The Australian actress was dressed beyond recognition as vigilante V from the cult film “V for Vendetta”.

Margot, also known as the Guy Fawkes mask, wore the costume completely incognito as she arrived at the star-studded party.

She wore an all-black ensemble consisting of a tight pencil dress, duster coat and high-heeled boots and completed her look with V’s famous bob wig.

Curiously, V for Vendetta – starring Hugo Weaving and Natalie Portman – was released in 2006 on the same day as Barbie, March 17th.

The film follows a vigilante named V who uses terrorist tactics to protest against the police state that Britain finds itself in after a world war.

This came after “Barbie” became the studio’s highest-grossing film of all time in U.S. theaters.

The summer hit helped the studio earn $537.5 million at the domestic box office in August.

And Greta Gerwig is the highest-grossing debut female director of all time, surpassing the $153 million earned by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck for the 2019 blockbuster Captain Marvel.

The fantasy comedy follows Barbie and Ken on their journey of self-discovery after an existential crisis.

The film, based on the Mattel character and co-written by Gerwig with husband Noah Baumbach, was praised for its insightful exploration of femininity.
