Chronopassion presents its Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Tattoo Fuoco in red gold – Montres-de-luxe.com

We no longer present the Octo Finissimo from Bvlgari. In just a few years, this watch has become an icon of contemporary watchmaking with its atypical design, the delicacy of its exceptional caliber and its case that gives the door the feeling of a “second skin”.

This year, three men: Laurent Picciotto, founder of Chronopassion in Paris, one of the most influential figures in contemporary watchmaking; Mo Coppoletta, known in London for his tattoo art, and Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, head of product development at Bulgari, took a new look at the artistic language etched into the skin and reinterpreted it on precious metal. of the Octo Finissimo.

Today, tattooing is considered a form of individual self-expression and is fully considered an art form that has its own trends and styles, from abstract to portrait, from figurative to hyper-realistic, from tribal to modern.

Tattooing is evolving rapidly. Coming from the street, he opened himself to other techniques, new styles and, above all, artists with their visual and cultural background, such as Mo Coppoletta, artistic director and designer.

Completely “tattooed” with flames, the Octo Finissimo Tattoo Fuoco in rose gold completes this tattoo trilogy based around natural elements: Aria, Aqua and Fuoco! Air, water and fire. Three natural elements that will have formed the “skin” of the Octo Finissimo in three special editions made exclusively for Chronopassion in Paris.

After Aria, dotted with clouds and stars in 2021, and Aqua, with its powerful swirls of water, in 2022, the Octo Finissimo tattoo is adorned with fire and flames in this final version that brings these three men together around the fire one last time.

While the previous two works were made of sandblasted titanium, the Fuoco creation shines with the shine of rose gold – a material with warm nuances that is close to Bulgari’s heart and which apparently evokes the heat of flames better than a piece made of titanium. !

This watch has a total thickness of just 5.15 mm thanks to the ultra-thin automatic movement (Bvl 138) with a thickness of 2.23 mm, made possible by, among other things, a platinum micro-rotor. The power reserve, suitable for weekend use, is increased to 60 hours.

The fifteen pieces in this limited series are available exclusively at Chronopassion in Paris.
