Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo’s offense was consumed by the Lions throughout Monday night’s game, with home favorite Detroit winning 26-14.

The veteran pivot completed just 10 of his 21 passes, a gain of 126 yards. In fact, the Raiders’ offense gained just 157 yards, barely more than Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs.

The rookie player will be on many’s radars after having the best game of his young career. The Alabama Crimson Tide product ran with energy and drove the ball for 152 yards on 26 carries.

Although he trusted his carriers, quarterback Jared Goff also distributed the ball. His 26 completions were good for 272 yards. Amon-Ra St. Brown (108 yards) and Sam LaPorta (one touchdown) were his favorite targets.

If the Raiders stayed in the game, it was because of the Lions’ multiple turnovers. Goff threw an interception that was returned with the middle finger by Marcus Peters, and his teammates also fumbled the ball twice.

Detroit (6-2) will face the Chargers (3-4) on Nov. 12 in Los Angeles. Las Vegas (3-5) hosts the New York Giants (2-6) at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.
