Lizzo takes the plunge and impersonates Elvira, the Mistress of the Dark, for a Halloween house party

Lizzo channeled Elvira, the Mistress of the Dark, for the Halloween party she threw at her $24 million, three-bedroom home in Beverly Hills on Sunday night.

The 35-year-old rapper, singer and flautist, who previously dressed as Tina Turner, showed off maximum cleavage in the costume thanks to the tailored bustier underneath.

Lizzo’s (née Melissa Jefferson) plunging black velvet dress was co-designed by Iggy Soliven and Matthew Reisman.

The four-time Grammy winner’s black beehive wig was styled by JStayReady, and her makeup artist Alexx Mayo applied long lashes and colorful shades to her eyelids.

Lizzo completed her legendary horror hostess vampire costume with a black manicure by nail artist Eri Ishizu.

The Special hitmaker, who has 45.9 million social media followers, made sure to take a selfie on Instastory at the head of her dining room table with lots of friends and pals on the payroll.

Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, was a character created by Cassandra Peterson and popularized by James Signorelli’s 1988 cult classic of the same name.

The Kansas-born former go-go dancer, who came out as a lesbian in 2021, donned her costume again just last year when she celebrated her 71st birthday in a kiddie pool.

In the comments on Lizzo’s Instagram slideshow, fans wrote that they would never “forget” her ex-employees’ troubling allegations and scoffed, “Nah, Elvira respects the people she works with.”

Last Friday, the Detroit-born, Houston-raised star’s lawyers formally filed a motion in Los Angeles court to dismiss the sexual harassment lawsuit filed in August by three of her fired backup dancers.

“The plaintiffs went on a press tour, denigrating the defendants and spreading their fabricated sob story in court and in the media.” “This ends today,” attorney Marty Singer wrote in legal documents obtained by Billboard.

“Rather than taking responsibility for their own actions, Plaintiffs filed this lawsuit against Defendants out of spite and in pursuit of media attention, public sympathy, and a quick payday with minimal effort.”

The filing included affidavits from 18 members of Lizzo’s traveling party disputing the facts set forth in the lawsuit filed by Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez.

“The defense plaintiffs are either defendants accused of wrongdoing or people on Lizzo’s payroll whose statements cannot be considered by the judge,” attorney Neama Rahmani told Billboard.

“That’s a question for the jury.” “Our clients have dozens of independent witnesses supporting their stories, and we continue to receive inquiries from other former Lizzo employees who would like to become new plaintiffs.”

In her only response to the lawsuit, Lizzo wrote that it was “never my intention to make anyone uncomfortable.”

“I am very open about my sexuality and expressing myself, but I cannot accept or allow others to use that openness to portray me as something I am not,” the Emmy-winning producer wrote on August 3 .

“I know what it feels like to be body shamed on a daily basis and there is no way I would criticize or fire an employee because of their weight.”
