Explosion threat: Paris police shoot woman in metro station

Police shot dead a woman in a Paris metro station who had threatened to blow herself up. The Paris public prosecutor’s office said the woman had previously made death threats on a train heading to the center this morning.

When he failed to comply with the requests of the alarmed police officers at the railway station, a police officer fired a shot. The woman was seriously injured.
