The Earth and Paixão will catch fire with a clash between Agatha (Eliane Giardini) and Antônio (Tony Ramos). The excon loses control when she learns that the farmer is responsible for Jonatas (Paulo Lessa) being between life and death in Globo’s nine o’clock soap opera. Faced with the diagnosis that her eldest son may never walk again, she will pursue her exhusband and vow revenge. “Pray that Jonatas recovers,” she will say menacingly.
The scenes of the fight between the two are scheduled to be broadcast on Thursday (2). Aline (Barbara Reis) will tell Caio’s mother (Cauã Reymond) about the hired killer who was hired to kill her. The accountant will make sure that everything Jonatas goes through is Antônio’s fault.
“I will never forgive you for what you did to my Jonatas, Antônio!” Agatha will scream when she finds her lover. He will say with a serious face that he had nothing to do with the accident.
“Perhaps there is someone else in the world who believes your nonsense, Antônio, but not me! I know very well that you tried to kill Aline. And she would be dead if my son hadn’t thrown himself in front of her. He was a hero while you remain a cold and cynical killer!” shouts the villain played by Eliane Giardini, who continues:
If Jonatas becomes paraplegic and can never walk again, prepare yourself, Antônio! I just came to tell you that I am very angry with you. Be careful, Antonio! Pray for Jonatas’ recovery as his life may depend on it!
When Agatha leaves, Antônio will be breathless and afraid of what might happen. He appears and takes a hidden medicine, suggesting that the farmer is suffering from an illness that no one knows about.
Written by Walcyr Carrasco and Thelma Guedes, Terra e Paixão is set in the fictional town of Nova Primavera in Mato Grosso do Sul. The plot will be broadcast until January next year, when it will be replaced by the remake of Renascer (1993).
