Egypt allows the entry of wounded people from Gaza through the Rafah border crossing

Egyptian authorities are preparing to receive injured Palestinians on Wednesday from the Gaza Strip, which has been bombarded by Israel continuously since the bloody attack by the Islamist group Hamas on October 7, medical and security sources said on Wednesday (31).

“Medical teams will be present at the border crossing (Rafah) tomorrow (Wednesday 1) to examine the cases (from Gaza) since their arrival (…) and determine the hospitals to which they will be sent,” said a medical officer official told AFP the Egyptian city of Al Arish. A security source in the Rafah border region confirmed the information.
