The Car Guide Academy continues this week with actresses Jemmy Echaquan Dubé and Marianne Verville, who will compete on a course full of obstacles and challenges this Saturday at 11:30 a.m. on TVA.
On the advice of host Patrick Benoit, the two guests will cross swords behind the wheel of the Chevrolet Bolt EUV.

Some details about the Bolt EUV
“The Bolt came onto our market at the end of 2016. […] It was an immediate success in the Quebec market, but a little weaker on a North American scale because we love SUVs, especially in the United States,” mentions Car Guide columnist Antoine Joubert.
To remedy the situation, Chevrolet launched the Bolt EUV (Electric Utility Vehicle), which looks like a small utility vehicle. The base LT trim starts at a retail price of $40,548, while the Premier variant costs up to $44,048. Both benefit from the provincial and federal rebate totaling $12,000.

Finally, the range is 397 km and it takes 7.5 hours to fully charge the battery via a Type 2 terminal. Power is 200 hp and torque is 266 lb-ft. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes just over seven seconds.
Antoine’s advice and the rally
This week Antoine talks about the elements that need to be taken into account when maintaining electric vehicles. As with gasoline vehicles, they need to change tires, maintain brakes and replace windshield wipers. Of course there is no oil change.

The third day of the 100% rally is entering its final hours. The duo Geneviève Tardif and Charles Hamelin will talk about the challenges they have faced so far. They will use their time at Tag E-Karting to compete against driver Alexandre Tagliani before heading to Oshawa.
