The Israeli army said on Wednesday that 15 of its soldiers had been killed since the previous day in the Gaza Strip, where it is stepping up land operations in the war against the Palestinian Hamas.
“These 15 soldiers were killed during the military operation in Gaza since Tuesday,” an army spokesman told AFP.

Dozens of Palestinians were killed on Tuesday in the bombing of the largest refugee camp in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army confirmed the attack and said it targeted one of those responsible for the October 7 Hamas attack.
