Alex Fevola has revealed what really happened at the Caulfield Cup after she was pictured in the middle of what appeared to be a tense moment with her partner Brendan.
In exclusive photos published by Chron Australia, the 46-year-old makeup artist put on an animated show and gestured with her hands while speaking to her husband at the racing event in Melbourne.
Alex, 46, insisted she had not had a row with Brendan on the Fifi, Fev & Nick breakfast radio show on Thursday.
“I was so excited because I was so excited about how the security guard actually asked.” [daughter] “Mia and I went to find an ID lanyard and I said to him, ‘I’m her mother,’” she explained.
“I passed this story on to Brendan. There was no argument.”

Alex and Brendan attended the racing carnival event with their model daughter Mia, 23, and her new boyfriend Bass Miller.
The make-up artist looked glamorous in a white lace dress as she joined the NRL star, who wore light blue suit trousers.
Meanwhile, Mia dared to wear a mini dress, a white headpiece and matching heels, while her high school friend looked dapper in a white suit and midnight blue shirt.
Brendan and makeup artist Alex married in 2005 but divorced in 2014.
However, their split was short-lived and the couple got back together that same year before getting engaged in 2016.
Alex told Fifi, the Fev & Nick breakfast radio show on Thursday, that she had no argument with Brendan and in fact told him how security had asked her for an ID wristband
Shortly after being crowned winner of the 2016 season of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, Brendan proposed to Alex – for the second time – in front of their children.
Brendan adopted Mia after marrying her mother in 2005, and the couple are the proud parents of three other daughters: Leni (12), Lulu (8) and Tobi (2).
At the time, Brendan told radio presenter Dave Thornton on Fifi and Dave: “I was a bit nervous, I didn’t think she would say yes.”
“Because we’ve been married before and obviously divorced. “It was really nice with the children there.”
