AEW Dynamite Louisville, Kentucky
The commentators are Taz, Tony Schiavone and Excalibur.
– Tonight is AEW Dynamite, the show begins with a preview video of the Castagnoli vs. Cassidy match that will take place tonight.
– Behind the scenes we find Renee Paquette with MJF. Paquette asks him if he found his partners for tonight. MJF says he has a roster and he sees some assholes on the roster, but he has his friend Adam Cole on a video call to help him. We find Adam Cole on the screen. Cole says he’s happy that MJF has the longest world title reign. He would like to work with MJF, but has to advise him to consider Samoa Joe’s offer. MJF says the last Joe almost broke his neck. He’ll keep thinking and Cole can trust him to successfully defend the ROH Tag Team Titles. MJF leaves.
Roderick Strong comes with The Kingdom. Strong says he would never leave in the middle of a conversation like MJF just did. Serious question: Do they still have to pretend MJF isn’t the devil? Cole leaves the video call. The screen cuts and we see the devil.
– The wrestlers come into the ring for the first fight.
AEW International Championship – Singles match
Orange Cassidy (c) against Claudio Castagnoli, accompanied by Wheeler Yuta
During the fight, HOOK comes to the ring to protect Cassidy. The referee decides to send HOOK and Yuta backstage. We then see HOOK being thrown out of the room for pushing an AEW official as he exited.
At the end of the fight, Castagnoli blocks the Superman Punch and Cassidy manages to do a DDT to cover him, but he resists two. Cassidy tries another punch, but Castagnoli blocks it again and Cassidy manages to surprise him with a quick three count.
Winner: Orange Cassidy
– After the match, Orange Cassidy rolls out of the ring to avoid Castagnoli’s wrath, but Jon Moxley’s music starts! Moxley enters the ring, Cassidy decides to enter the ring to fight. Moxley starts beating up Cassidy without much problem. Two security guards arrive, but Castagnoli and Moxley push them out of the ring. Moxley starts hitting Cassidy again. Castagnoli finally manages to calm Moxley down.
– Behind the scenes, MJF is still looking for partners. MJF looks at Kenny Omega’s door and knocks, but it’s Chris Jericho who opens it. MJF asks if he can talk to Omega, Jericho slams the door in his face. MJF keeps going but Wardlow pushes him into the wall! Wardlow says MJF took everything from him and now he’s going to take everything from MJF when he least expects it. MJF goes further and crosses a headscissors. Max Caster offers to join forces with them again, but MJF refuses.
– Back after the break, backstage, Jon Moxley says that Rey Fenix sacrificed his body for 3 seconds to get the victory. And Cassidy picked up what was left. This had to be his counterpart. He showed Cassidy respect, what did he expect after all this? He can no longer tolerate others. At Full Gear, he’ll beat Orange Cassidy and Cassidy won’t be able to do anything about it.
ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championship
Gates of Agony (Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) vs. Adam Page, Matt and Nick Jackson (c)
During the match, Adam Page prepares for his finisher, but Swerve Strickland arrives with a microphone. Strickland laughs that he was with Page last week. Page comes in and chases Strickland backstage.
At the end of the match, Gates of Agony takes control since it’s 2 on 3 and performs a three-way powerbomb on Matt Jackson. Kaun and Liona double team Matt Jackson for a three count.
Winner: Gates of Agony – New Champions
-After the fight, Matt Jackson is angry about the loss and starts throwing chairs everywhere.
– Behind the scenes we see that Adam Page and Strickland are separated by security.
– Back, behind the scenes, MJF is at the door from Samoa Joe, but ultimately doesn’t hit. MJF hits Darby Allin’s door and changes the name to “emo.” MJF meets and Max Caster is waiting for him with a sign saying to choose her. MJF still refuses.
– Tony Schiavone is in the ring and introduces us to Adam Copeland. Schiavone says it’s clear that fans around the world love the Rated R Superstar. So what is his opinion on Sting and Darby Allin? Copeland says he met Sting and Sting told him they had come a long way. He and Sting had the same injury, the two talked for a long time to confide in each other and come back. So he has respect for Sting. And for Darby Allin he is a pillar of the company’s founding. That’s why everyone wants to know what they’re going to do. Will he team up with Sting and Darby Allin for “Full Gear”? Christian Cage’s music begins and he takes the stage with Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne.
As he speaks, Christian commands the crowd’s attention. Christian says he’s going to retire Sting from Full Gear whether he likes it or not. And we haven’t seen much of Darby Allin lately and we see he’s been wearing a sling since their match at WrestleDream, a fall on the steel step that Darby will never forget. Christian says Copeland has neck problems and Copeland should resign if he doesn’t want his dream to turn into a nightmare. Copeland should turn down Full Gear or it will break his neck and Copeland will spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. Christian decides to send Wayne and Luchasaurus to preview Full Gear, but Copeland knocks them both out of the ring! Christian gets in the ring to distract him and Luchasaurus takes the opportunity to hit Copeland in the back.
Wayne makes his cutter on Copeland. Christian asks Wayne to get him some chairs, but Sting’s music starts! Sting and Darby Allin enter the ring to help Copeland and clear the ring! Christian punches Darby, but Copeland spears him as he turns! Copeland gets on the microphone and says if Christian wants to break his neck, he will destroy him. Sting and Darby want a partner for Full Gear, he’s their man! Copeland poses with Sting and Darby in the ring.
– Behind the scenes, We find Tony Khan for his big announcement. Tony Khan says it was a great year for AEW. A great success with All In, the wrestling show with the most tickets sold for its debut in Europe. The Christmas season begins. What could be better than giving away a ticket to AEW All In 2024 from Wembley? Ticket sales begin on December 1, 2023.
– The Don Callis family takes their places with the commentators for the next game.
Tag team match
Matt Menard and Angelo Parker vs. Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega
At the end of the fight, Jericho performs the Judas Effect on Parker to the count of three.
Winners: Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega
– After the match, Don Callis says they are like cockroaches, Omega and Jericho always come back. Maybe this story should end on the streets and not in a wrestling ring. So if they have the guts, he invites Jericho and Omega to a street fight at Dynamite in two weeks. Omega says that Callis wanted to hurt him and Jericho from the beginning, not for his family, but for himself. So yes, they accept the street fight and will bring his family, so he will have Kota Ibushi. Callis says they are still negative. Omega asks if Jericho can help him. Jericho says he’s looking at Will Hobbs, but he has an even greater friend than Will Hobbs. Hobbs is tall, but he’s not a giant. Paul Wight is coming! Kyle Fletcher approaches the stage but Wight knocks him down ! The rest of the Callis family stays far away.
– Back backstage, Renee Paquette asks Jericho and Omega for their reaction. Jericho says the Callis family will have to face their new friend in two weeks. The Young Bucks are coming. Matt Jackson says they’re friends too, right? But why bring the elite back together when no one helps each other anymore? And who invited Jericho into his locker room? Jericho says they shouldn’t take their anger out on him for losing the Trios Titles. Omega says Jericho is helping them against Callis. Matt Jackson says Jericho will betray him like Callis. The Bucks leave and tell them to clean the locker room before leaving.
AEW Women’s Championship – Singles Match
Willow Nightingale vs. Emi Sakura (c)
At the end of the fight, Nightingale performs a Death Valley Driver on Shida and covers her, but Shida resists two. Nightingale blocks an attack with a clothesline, but Shida surprises her with a quick count and Nightingale holds back for a two count. Shida follows with a knee strike and covers her, but Nightingale fights back. Shida continues with her katana and counts to three.
Winner: Hikaru Shida
– After the match, Shida and Nightingale shake hands, but Toni Storm comes on stage to pose for the fans. Shida gets angry and hits her with a running knee and then chases her backstage. The lights go off and then back on. Nightingale finds himself in the ring with Julia Hart. Julia offers her hand, but Skye Blue comes and stands between the two. Skye Blue sprays Julia with a blue mist.
– Behind the scenes, MJF is still looking for partners for tonight. The Acclaimed is back. Anthony Bowens says no one likes MJF, except Caster of course. He doesn’t understand why MJF didn’t choose them because everyone loves The Acclaimed. Caster says just cut it and wear her outfit if he changes his mind. MJF says they will never team up and that there is one more group on his list. MJF turns around and the Jeff Jarrett clan is there. Jarrett says they are here to help MJF.
– Behind the scenes is Renee Paquette at The Kingdom. Roderick Strong calls with Adam Cole. Strong points out to Cole that MJF didn’t even ask her to team up with them, he’s an idiot. Cole hangs up and tells him to be quiet.
– Back in, Bullet Club Gold enters the ring. Then the celebrated music begins. Max Caster raves about Bullet Club Gold being rejected. Then MJF arrives wearing an Acclaimed t-shirt and a pink outfit.
8-Man Tag Team Match
If Team MJF wins, MJF can regain their title stolen from Jay White.
Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn) vs. Max Caster, Anthony, Bowens, Billy Gunn and MJF
At the end of the fight, MJF chases Jay White, who manages to evade him. The Gunns try to stop him, but MJF blocks their finisher. MJF performs a kangaroo kick on Robinson and Austin to knock them out of the ring. Jay White returns to the ring and surprises MJF with his Blade Runner for a three count!
Winner: Bullet Club Gold
– After the match, Jay White’s Clan relieves MJF to continue the attack, but The Acclaimed returns to the ring to chase Bullet Club Gold out of the ring, except for Jay White. Jay White looks to beat MJF with the world title, but Max Caster pushes MJF away to take the blow for him! The Bullet Club takes the stage to celebrate.
MJF approaches Caster to see how he is doing. Caster offers to make the scissors. MJF refuses. Billy Gunn is angry and tells him to accept it after what he just did to him. MJF finally agrees to joke with The Acclaimed! The show ends like this.
