DJ and producer Michael Bibi has given fans a health update after he was diagnosed with CNS lymphoma, a rare form of brain and spine cancer.

The London-based electronic musician, 32, revealed he had returned to hospital to begin the final phase of treatment, which included a bone marrow/stem cell transplant.

Michael shared a picture of himself smiling in a hospital bed as a doctor began his treatment.

Next to the picture he wrote: “The final battle.” After many months of struggle, today I begin the final phase of my treatment with a bone marrow/stem cell transplant.

“If all goes well, this will be the final and hardest part of my journey.” It will hit me hard and the recovery could take months, but the end goal is to be 100% cancer free…

Michael continued: “I pray every day that everything goes smoothly and that I can leave the hospital with you all soon.”

He signed off with the words, “Wish me luck and see you on the other side.”

Michael received plenty of support from his fellow DJs in the industry and his fans in the comments section of the post.

Michael made an epic return to music in September by surprising clubgoers at Ibiza’s legendary club DC-10 at the Solid Grooves wrap party.

It was his first performance since his cancer diagnosis in June, which put a damper on his extensive live plans for the summer.

He sparked rumors of a comeback after tweeting: “One life, live it,” shortly after sharing a picture of himself leaving the hospital and another on the plane.

Michael announced back in June that he had been diagnosed with CNS lymphoma, a rare form of brain and spine cancer.

At the time he wrote: “Hello world, I find it difficult to write this post. Last week I was diagnosed with CNS lymphoma.” A very rare cancer that affects the brain and spine.

“Unfortunately it’s happening quickly and I have to stay in hospital and start treatment straight away.”

“Writing this message doesn’t feel entirely real and I’m sorry for the bad news.” I don’t know what lies ahead, I’m tired, but I know I’m strong and I won’t let this get me down let.

“Wish me luck and I will be back stronger for you all. ‘I love Bibi.’

Earlier this year, Michael had to cancel his upcoming performances due to ongoing health issues related to tinnitus.

He later told fans that his condition was more serious and that his symptoms were due to a “more serious” neurological problem.

In a video posted online, he said: “I’m fine.” Long story short, I had tinnitus and they did a bunch of tests on it, but it turned out it was more of a neurological problem in my brain and brainstem.

“So yeah, the doctors don’t know exactly what’s going on or what it is yet, but I’m in the hospital now and they’re doing a lot of tests and hoping I get answers soon and can start treatment.” and then go again out of there.’

Michael has previously spoken about his tinnitus diagnosis and promoted the importance of hearing protection at trade shows and festivals.

The condition unfortunately had a major impact on his ability to perform at shows and he announced that he would be canceling his upcoming performances.

WHAT IS CNS LYMPHOMA?

Lymphomas of the brain or spinal cord are also called primary central nervous system (CNS) lymphomas. Or doctors call it primary cerebral lymphoma.

It is a rare type of lymphoma. Lymphoma means that it is a cancer that starts in the lymphatic system. Primary means that the lymphoma has arisen in the lymphatic tissue of the brain or spinal cord.

Lymphomas are cancers that arise in the lymph glands or other organs of the lymphatic system.

The lymphatic system is a system of thin tubes and lymph nodes that run throughout the body. Lymph nodes are bean-shaped glands. The thin tubes are called lymphatic vessels or lymphatic vessels. In these vessels, a fluid called lymph circulates throughout the body and flows through the lymph nodes.

The lymphatic system runs through your entire body. So you can get lymphoma almost anywhere, including in the brain and spinal cord. Most brain lymphomas begin in the front part of the brain (the cerebrum).
