Hezbollah attacks northern Israel in 19 locations simultaneously G1

According to Portal, the Hezbollah group from Lebanon said it carried out an attack on 19 locations in northern Israel this Thursday (2). Facilities were among the targets, but Hezbollah leaders gave no further information.

Hezbollah is a group of Shiite Muslims from Lebanon that has a political party, including representation in the country’s Congress, and also its own armed forces.

Explosive drones were used for the first time in attacks against the Israeli military. At least two drones were used in a region disputed by both countries called Shebaa Farms.

Israel responded with bombings. Lebanon’s national news agency said regions in the south of the country were affected.

Hezbollah and Israel after October 7th

On October 7th, the terrorist group Hamas carried out an attack on the other side of Israel, in the south of the country. On the same day, Israel declared war on Hamas.

From that moment on, Hezbollah intensified exchanges of fire with the Israelis.

Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is expected to give a speech on Friday. It will be the first time since this last wave of violence and clashes.
