A former I’m A Celebrity…Get me out of here! Star has revealed that there is a job on the show that the star contestants don’t actually have to do.
Phil Tufnell, who won the ITV show in 2003, has claimed that one of the worst jobs is done by a member of the crew off camera.
The former cricket star said participants were not forced to clean the camp toilet – known as a dunny – even though it looked like they were.
Phil revealed in his new memoir The Tourist that the task is actually carried out by staff, explaining that the celebrities only have to carry the basket and not empty it.
He wrote: “I stuck with the dunny – believe me, an unenviable task.” I literally had nightmares about it – I tripped while carrying it away and was engulfed in a torrent of celebrity sewage.

Yuck! Phil Tufnell, who won the ITV show in 2003, has claimed that one of the worst jobs is done by a member of the crew off camera
“There’s a little secret here: Participants remove the dunny, but don’t actually empty it.”
“They carry it down to a camouflaged wooden hut, knock on the door and head out.”
“It’s basically an extreme version of that old knock-and-run game where you wrap a piece of dog crap in newspaper, light it on fire, drop it at someone’s front door, ring the bell and hold it out with your feet.”
Phil returned to the jungle after 20 years last year when he took part in the All Star series and made it to the final four.
He was a finalist alongside Fatima Whitbread, Jordan Banjo and Myleene Klass. The show was won by Myleene.
During his farewell interview on the show, Phil praised most of his co-stars while detailing how they get along with the others in the jungle.
He said he immediately hit it off with English songwriter Shaun Ryder.
“He said we were going on tour with him with The Happy Mondays. Crikey, maybe I’ll just go for a few nights.

Hilarious: The sportsman was particularly fond of Shaun, 60, as he made a hilarious comparison between him and Star Wars character Yoda
“I became very close to Dean and Joe. Great guys, they came jumping like bouncy balls. Simply full of life. And also Jordan or the Biggun as I call him,” he added.
The cricket star claimed he got on well with everyone on the reality show, adding: “Toff was great fun.” Carol was beautiful and reserved. “Amir is a great boy, what a top block he is,” Phil said.
“Janice is absolutely lovely – and fierce – damn, there aren’t many Janices in the world.”
The sportsman particularly liked Shaun, 60, as he made a hilarious comparison between him and Star Wars character Yoda.
“I mean, an absolute legend, and we just have a lot of fun,” he said.
Phil said the pair spent a lot of time in the jungle chatting about a variety of topics – from pain to cooking pans.
He added: “He makes me laugh and I think, especially with that stick, he looks like Yoda.”
“You know, the little guy with the burlap cape in Star Wars, with the stick and the ears. “I guess he’ll start floating soon, haha.”
