New York Rangers fans are holding their breath as defenseman Adam Fox’s health remains a mystery.

Fox suffered a lower body injury when he collided with forward Sebastian Aho. The knee of the man behind hit his opponent’s leg. After the incident, the 25-year-old hockey player returned to the ice for 31 seconds, but then retreated to the locker room not to return to the game.

After the game, Rangers captain Jacob Trouba was angry with Aho. He wondered why the Canes player didn’t have to answer for his actions.

“I have to fight every time I do something. So I told myself that he [Aho] “I had to answer too, but he didn’t see things that way,” Trouba said during the press scrum that followed the clash.

“If he’s out for a while, it’s up to one of our guys to improve their level of play. He is a very good player in the league and a big part of our team,” he also said when talking about Fox.

The 2020-2021 James Norris Trophy winner is the leading scorer among Rangers defensemen and is tied with Cale Makar (Colorado Avalanche) for second place among Bettman Tour top scorers among defensemen. In ten appearances, Fox hit the target three times and provided eight assists for 11 points.
