According to the Gaza authorities to the local newspaper Al Jazeera, an Israeli attack hit the ambulance convoy transporting injured people as it was leaving AlShifa Hospital this Friday, 3.
According to Portal, the health ministry of the Hamascontrolled Gaza Strip said several Palestinians were killed and injured in the attack. The number of victims is still unknown.
Ministry spokesman Ashraf AlQudra previously said that seriously injured Palestinians who urgently needed to be taken to Egypt for treatment would be sent from Gaza City and from the north to the south.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, director Muhammad Abu Silmeyeh said the situation at the Gaza city hospital was beyond dire. “We have run out of medical supplies, we cannot cope with the high number of injuries and within a few hours the generators will be switched off. The hospital morgue is completely full. “We keep the dead in our freezer trucks,” he said.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) shared a video showing a damaged ambulance seemingly spattered with blood, reporting that the vehicle was attacked by Israeli forces on AlRashid Street in Gaza this morning.
The target of the attack “was a group of ambulances returning from a mission to transport the injured to the Rafah border,” including a PRCS vehicle, he said.

Israel says Hamas has fuel from Shifa hospital
The Israel Defense Forces said Friday that the extremist group Hamas “owns the fuel for Shifa Hospital.”
