You’d think that anyone on a reality competition show would be smart enough to take a legend like Cirie Fields out of the game – knowing how dangerous she can be. The reality TV icon scored big in three of her four seasons of Survivor and went on to win the very first season of The Traitors.
But even with this huge goal behind her, Cirie made it to day 93 of Big Brother. Cirie was the special surprise guest of Season 25’s 17th season and had a secret connection with her son Jared Fields that only one person, Izzy Gleicher, found out. These three formed a strong alliance that seemed to dictate the game until America Lopez and Cory Wurternberger flipped the script.
Still, Cirie managed to stay alive and barely touched the block before exiting in this Thursday’s live eviction episode. How does Survivor star Cirie assess her own game in the Big Brother house? How do the strategies differ between the two games? Which of your BB roommates do you think would get along best on the island? And would she ever enter this house again to try again? We asked Cirie all this and more on the way to the jury house.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Analyze your own play this season: What did you do well and what didn’t you do so well?
CIRIE FIELDS: Oh my goodness. What worked well for me was my social relationships. I always have a good time making contacts with people. That wasn’t the hard part. The hard part was managing my alliances and sharing information within those alliances. This was harder than ever because in the Big Brother house, information is like trains on a subway – they come and go every 10 minutes, and I wasn’t prepared for that.
What is the biggest difference between the strategic game of Big Brother and Survivor?
In Survivor, you can form an alliance from day one – even a group of people in an alliance – that maintains and sustains the time of the entire game. With Big Brother, however, you basically have to play week after week and day after day. Even as they form alliances and connections, they come and go, whereas Survivor is consistent in my opinion.

Which of your Big Brother housemates would do best on Survivor?
I think Red would do great on Survivor because Red has skills that would be a perfect fit for Survivor, and Red also has social strategy – a social game that would be a great fit for Survivor. I really connected with Red. Many people in the house had a connection to Red. Without a situation with Red, Cameron and Jared, Red would have gone far in this game. So I think Red would be the perfect Survivor player.

You’ve played Survivor four times. Would you play Big Brother again?
I don’t think I have enough mental stamina to play Big Brother again. Survivor is now a shorter game. Even if it lasted 39 days, it was shorter than the struggle, the effort and the stress [here]. I feel like I’ve aged 10 years by playing Big Brother for 93 days and I don’t know if I could handle 10 more days of playing Big Brother. I would never look forward to the constant vice grip on your brain in the Big Brother game again. I appreciate the opportunity and experience, but I will pass it up.

Finally: What’s the worst thing Felicia has done in your bed this season?
Can we talk about boundaries? Felicia had no boundaries when it came to me in my personal space. Because I’m 53 years old and I’ve been around the corner a few times, but I’ve never met a person or people who would take the liberty of even examining their feet in my presence, more or less, um to cut my toenails or put them on my sheets! The only personal space you can have in a game like this is your bed. Everything else is community property. And Felicia took the liberty of filing her toenail.
I hate feet. I have something with feet. And for those who love feet, more power to you. I don’t judge you. I have something with feet. And you… I’ve never done that before. “Surprised” isn’t strong enough to explain how I felt when I saw Felicia filing her toenails on my bedsheets. I should have known then – Felicia couldn’t be trusted. Anyone who takes the liberty of cutting or filing their toenails on your sheets is someone you should definitely not trust with anything.
