In 1999, Michel Laperrière starred in Histoires de Filles and Le Retour on TVA. He said he was very blessed by life and now dreams of a new professional challenge and… true love. His wish came true the following year with Chantal Lamarre, the mother of his children, with whom he was still in a relationship after 23 years.

In 2002, Michel played the role of her husband Bruno in Le Retour à TVA alongside Sylvie-Catherine Beaudoin. This year he appeared in four television series, including Grande Ourse on Radio-Canada and Une Grenade avec ça? in Vrak, and he won a Gémeaux for the role of Dallaire in La vie, la vie.

In 2004, almost 20 years ago, Michel Laperrière mortgaged his house to become co-owner of the Théâtre des Cascades. This year he presented the comedy Les Gaffeurs, which tells the incredible adventures of a comedy duo in which he notably starred alongside Jean Petitclerc.

In the role of the owner of the snack bar at Ben’s, a style we are less familiar with. This play, adapted for Quebec in 2008 by Chantal Lamarre, was performed at the Théâtre des Cascades.
