ASK: Please explain why Draymond (Green) was not called for offensive interference on the Warriors’ final possession.

ERVIN: It was clear and conclusive evidence that Draymond wasn’t touching the ball. Although Draymond touches the rim, he does not touch the ball, nor does touching the rim cause the ball to bounce unnaturally, and therefore there is no basketball violation in the game.

ASK: Why wasn’t a delay of game penalty assessed against the Warriors during the last possession of the game, as the Thunder were attempting to inbound the ball and the Warriors were not ready for the game to begin, as evidenced by players entering and leaving the court under the time, when OKC tried to conquer basketball?

ERVIN: After reviewing the basket interference, there were several administrative matters that the team needed to communicate to the scorer’s table in order to return to the point of resuming play. It is our responsibility to ensure that 10 players are on the pitch and ready to play and we have fulfilled that task.
