The Israeli army began its ground operation in the Palestinian territory on Friday, October 27.

According to the army, at least 29 Israeli soldiers have been killed since then.

According to Israeli authorities, at least 1,400 people have died on the Israeli side since October 7, most of them civilians killed on the same day of Hamas’s unprecedented attack.

In retaliation, Israel declared a war to “annihilate” Hamas and relentlessly bombed the Gaza Strip, led by the Palestinian Islamist movement.

According to the Hamas government, these attacks killed nearly 9,500 people, mostly civilians.

On October 27, the Israeli army accused Hamas of “waging war from hospitals” in the Gaza Strip, which the Islamist movement categorically denied.
