It became known that the 80-year-old American billionaire businessman Robert Kraft is going to marry his 47-year-old doctor girlfriend.
Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots NFL and CEO of the Kraft Group, posed a question to top New York ophthalmologist Dana Bloomberg with a “10-carat diamond,” according to one source.
The couple, who have been dating for three years, kept their news under wraps, but 70-year-old friend Tommy Hilfiger let it slip at the first amfAR Gala Palm Beach event on Saturday.

“Tommy Hilfiger was the honoree and Robert and Dana chaired the event for Tommy,” a source told Page Six. ‘[Hilfiger] said his “good friend Bob Kraft got engaged to Dr. Dana Bloomberg” at an event on stage, speaking to the entire audience.”
Another attendee noted that Dr. Bloomberg was wearing a “giant stone” at the gala, and one compared it to the oversized “Super Bowl rings” worn by Kraft’s Patriots.
This will be the second marriage for Kraft, who was married to his college sweetheart Myra from 1963 until her death from cancer in 2011.
The following year, he began dating actress Ricky Noel Lander. They are believed to have broken up in 2018.
Kraft, who has four sons, at least one of whom is older than his future wife, knew Dr. Bloomberg as a friend years before they started dating. The couple posed for photos at a 2017 event for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
Dr. Bloomberg is one of the leading ophthalmologists in the United States and works at Columbia’s New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
College sweetheart: Kraft was married to Myra from 1963 until her death from cancer in 2011. The couple have four sons, at least one of whom is older than Dr. Bloomberg.
Known Girlfriend: Kraft dated actress Ricky Noel Lander (pictured) from 2012 to 2018
They confirmed their romance in 2019 when they held hands at the French Open. A month later, they were spotted in the stands of the women’s World Cup final in Paris.
By early 2020, the couple walked the red carpet together at Sir Elton’s Oscar party.
A source told Page Six at the time: “They’re serious, like kids would say, ‘They’re going steady!’ They have been dating for almost a year and are happy.”
In 2019, the same year he began dating Bloomberg, Kraft was charged with two counts of forced prostitution in connection with a trafficking case involving a Florida massage parlor chain.
A familiar face: Bloomberg and Kraft were previously seen together in 2017 (above) at an event for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Kraft denied and pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charges, which were dropped in September 2020.
There are no details about the wedding yet, but most likely it will be a stellar extravaganza.
Last year, billionaire Kraft celebrated his 80th birthday with a surprise party hosted by fellow NFL owner Michael Rubin at his Hamptons mansion.
Guests, including Adele, Bon Jovi and Gail King, saw the performance of Lionel Richie.
The birthday boy was also given a Bentley from friends including Rubin, Jay-Z and Meek Mill.
