In the wake of the death of the Alabama mayor and dual-personality Baptist pastor, harrowing, erotic, fictional stories of the murder of a real woman and the theft of her identity have emerged.
The mayor of Smiths Station, Florida, “Bubba” Copeland, 62, died by suicide on Friday after details about his “alter ego” Brittini Blaire Summerlin emerged online.
The Phenix City pastor posted photos of himself in women’s clothing, trans porn, and erotic novels in which he fantasized about transitioning.
The conservative news site that exposed the now-deceased mayor’s “hobby” also revealed that Copeland had published at least four trans porn and identity theft fictions on a website.
In a short story, Copeland, who owns a local grocery store, wrote about how he observed women hiding surveillance cameras in the store and how he saved the videos for this “private collection.”

In another long fictional story published under his pseudonym Brittini Blaire, the narrator becomes obsessed with a real local business owner, whom he eventually murders in order to assume her identity.
The story goes into detail about the steps he takes to “transition” and completely alter his body to match that of a real local woman living in his town.
He explains in the story that “her life had become his obsession” and that calling him a “stalker” would be an understatement.
The story describes how the narrator installs tracking malware to spy on the lady and track her purchases, movements and behavior.
The narrator also begins hormone treatment, purchases similar clothing, and trains in the woman’s profession to assume her identity.
The narrator also explains how he cautiously began to fit into her circle of friends as an unknown lady and goes into detail about how he seduces her husband, a feat he describes as “passing the ultimate test.”
“This life is everything I ever wanted, and after all, it was all mine!” writes the author.

The lady and her real business are mentioned again and again in the story. In an interview with 1819 News, she said she was unaware of the story’s existence and was close to Copeland’s family.
After Copeland’s dual identity was revealed last week, the father of three told community members that he was the subject of an “internet attack.”
“The article is not about who or what I am.” […] “I apologize for any embarrassment that may have arisen from my personal life and personal life that has become public.” This will not change my life. “This will not affect my dedication to my family, service to my city and my church,” Copeland said.

In one case, images of a local brother and sister were used to make it appear as if the boy had gone through a transition, the outlet reports.
During a sermon on the Wednesday before his death, Copeland apologized to his congregation and told them his wife was aware of his activities.
“Yes, I took photos with my wife in the privacy of our home to show humor because I know I am neither a good-looking man nor a beautiful woman,” Copeland said.
The Southern Baptist Convention, which is reportedly no longer affiliated with the Copeland congregation, said it had received allegations of “unbiblical behavior.”
However, the Alabama Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, of which Copeland’s church is a member, said the matter was “between the pastor and the church.”
Attitudes toward LGBTQ issues within baptism vary, but many promote a conservative agenda.
However, Copeland appears to have never publicly expressed anti-LGBTQ or right-wing conservative views.
